Red Dead Redemption 2 mods have kept Rockstar’s western game alive and changing long after Rockstar itself moved on. After one last holiday update in 2022, Rockstar left Red Dead Redemption 2 behind and, for the most part, left behind Red Dead Online as well, with most of the studio’s resources going toward GTA 6.
