‘Half of UK homes will need heat pumps by 2040’ to meet climate targets

At least half of our homes should be heated by heat pumps and three-quarters of all cars should be electric by 2040 if the UK is to stay on track to meet its legal obligation to be carbon zero by 2050.

Just two of the recommendations from the latest report from the independent Climate Change Committee.
